Originally part of a working farm, The Old Grain Store has been transformed into a warm and inviting rural retreat. The interior combines traditional stonework and exposed beams with contemporary design and natural light. The open-plan living area includes a comfortable sitting space with a wood burning stove, soft furnishings and a smart television, making it a perfect spot for unwinding after a day exploring the local area.
The mezzanine bedroom features a king size bed which offers wonderful views across the valley. Downstairs, there is additional space for guests with a double sofa and a single sofa bed, providing flexibility for families or small groups.
Relax and Reconnect Outdoors
Step outside onto the private wooden deck and enjoy the sound of the nearby brook. The space includes a fire pit and comfortable seating, perfect for evenings under the stars. The covered hot tub overlooks the valley and can be enjoyed in any weather, creating a truly relaxing experience.
The surrounding countryside offers endless opportunities for adventure. Guests can walk along peaceful woodland trails, follow scenic routes through open fields or explore local landmarks such as Offa’s Dyke Path. The market town of Newtown is within easy reach and offers independent shops, cafes and restaurants to discover.
The Store
The Old Grain Store has a large entrance with a settle to hang coats and leave your shoes. There is a bathroom with a toilet, sink and a large waterfall shower.

The curved wall of the building houses a stylish and well equipped kitchen that includes a hob, fridge, dishwasher, microwave and kettle. Everything you need for self catering is at your fingertips. The modern bathroom is finished to a high standard with a rainfall shower, soft towels and complimentary toiletries. Underfloor heating runs throughout the property to keep it comfortable in every season.
